Day 3 and last full day in Luxour
Welcome to Karnak Temple, largest religious construction in the world, renovated across a few thousand years... When Napoleon arrived, the inscription left on the entrance was tens of meters high due to rising, unswept sand.


Maybe if we weren't on our way to the airport, we would have accepted to ride the camel...


Aboard the felucca, we observed people fishing on the Western side of the Nile. The West bank, where we stayed, was less hectic and more like a village, complete with fields of wheat harvested by hand, ancient Egyptian tombs under the mountains, donkey carriages, offers to drink the wives' delicious tea...
